Fibromas are a common benign skin growth. Fibromas are also called warts. Fibromas are skin-colored growths that can occur anywhere on the skin. Especially in postmenopausal women, dozens of small or larger stalked skin-colored or light brown growths can sometimes be seen in the neck, armpits, under the breasts and in the groin. It is not very clear how fibromas develop. There is some connection with obesity and hormones.
Fibroids can be removed by coagulation. Coagulation is heating the benign skin tumor with a needle without damaging healthy skin.
