ROSACEA

Rosacea is a common chronic skin condition in which a bright red discoloration is visible. Rosacea can be recognized by red dilated branched blood vessels. This skin condition occurs mainly in women between the ages of 30 and 50.

The cause of Rosacea is still unknown, but it is suspected that the blood vessels in the face are dilated due to increased blood flow. This increased blood flow in the dilated vessels has come to a standstill, resulting in redness, swelling and possible flaking.
