Excessive hair growth in women is a common problem, however, we offer the solution to combat this. There are two forms of excessive hair growth; Hirsutism and Hypertrichosis.

In Hirsutism, the hair growth (in which hair growth has increased) is in a male hair pattern. Hirsutism can be recognized by black thick stiff hairs on the upper lip, chin and back. The condition can occur with: hormonal imbalance, medication use, but can also be hereditary.

Hypertrichosis is an increase in hair growth anywhere on the body, not linked to a specific pattern. The condition occurs in both men and women and can be congenital, but it can also develop later.
